The biggest challenge with a traditional Jhoola in a modern apartment is not the festival, it is the other 364 days. Where does it go? This Jhoola is built on the principles of Japanese joinery, no hidden hardware, no glue-dependent joints. It assembles and dismantles with minimal tools, collapsing from a 3ft × 3ft swing to a 1.3ft × 3ft flat pack that stores upright in a cupboard.
