This Jhoola is built on the principles of Japanese joinery — no hidden hardware, no glue-dependent joints. It assembles and dismantles with minimal tools, collapsing from a 3ft × 3ft swing to a 1.3ft × 3ft flat pack that stores upright in a cupboard.
The hardwood is sustainably sourced. The chain is marine-grade stainless steel, rated well beyond the loads a Jhoola typically carries. This is an heirloom piece — one that comes out every year and gets better with each use.
