This Jhoola is built on the principles of Japanese joinery, no hidden hardware, no glue-dependent joints. It assembles and dismantles with minimal tools, collapsing from a 3ft × 3ft swing to a 1.3ft × 3ft flat pack that stores upright in a cupboard.
The hardwood is sustainably sourced. The chain is marine-grade stainless steel, rated well beyond the loads a Jhoola typically carries. This is an heirloom piece, one that comes out every year and gets better with each use.

- Store in a dry, ventilated space, avoid damp storage areas.
- Oil the chain pivot points with a drop of mineral oil before each season.
- Wipe hardwood with a dry cloth; oil annually with raw linseed oil.
- Check joinery fit each year before first use of the season, tighten any loose elements with the mallet.
