A dining table is the most used piece of furniture in the home. It needs to seat six, survive a decade, and look like it belongs. We build dining tables as commission pieces — sized to your room, your family, and how you actually eat.
Sizing Guide
Four and Six Seaters
Four seat comfortably at 120–140 × 80–90 cm, or a 110–120 cm round. Six need 160–180 × 90 cm. Allow about 60 cm of edge per person.
Table and Chair Heights
Dining tables sit at 74–76 cm. Chairs at 44–47 cm to the seat leave the 28–30 cm your knees need. Benches follow the same seat height.
Caring for Epoxy
Use trivets for anything hot and coasters for anything wet. Wipe with mild soap and water — no solvents or abrasive pads. Keep the table out of strong direct sun to stop the resin ambering.

What size dining table seats 6 or 8?
As a guide, 6 people need about 180 × 90 cm and 8 need about 210–240 × 100 cm. We size from your room and how often you host.
How much space should I leave around a dining table?
About 90 cm from the table edge to walls or furniture; 75 cm is the tight minimum.
Is an epoxy dining table practical for everyday use?
Yes, with basic care. Cured epoxy is hard and easy to wipe clean. Use trivets for hot dishes, since epoxy softens at high temperatures, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight.
Will the epoxy yellow over time?
Epoxy can slowly amber under strong direct sun. We use UV-stabilised resin and recommend placing the table away from direct sunlight.
Does wood movement affect the epoxy?
Wood moves with humidity and epoxy doesn't, so the design has to allow for it. We use dry timber and size pours and joints to limit stress.
Which wood and finish is best for an everyday dining table?
A stable, dense hardwood with a hard-wearing finish that resists water rings.
Will a large dining table fit in my apartment lift?
We check lift, door and corridor sizes before finalising the design. Large tables can be built to separate into parts and assembled at home.
Do you make dining chairs or benches too?
We can make benches and for chairs we can recommend appropriate designs.
