Tree of Life — Block Carved Planter

The tree is carved not by adding — but by taking away. This piece uses negative block carving: the surrounding wood is removed by hand, leaving the tree as it always was, waiting inside the slab.
A warm white LED strip runs beneath the canopy, illuminating whatever is placed below — a succulent, a religious figurine, a favourite stone. The light is soft and directional, making the carving glow from within.
Sourced from sustainably managed Malaysian hardwood. Customisation — size, species, LED temperature — is available on request.

Care & Maintenance
- Wipe carved surfaces with a soft brush to remove dust from crevices.
- Avoid placing near vents or AC units — air movement dries hardwood quickly.
- LED strip: if flickering occurs, check the connector at the rear panel.
- Oil with raw linseed or tung oil once a year to deepen colour and protect.
