Malhaar
Floating Console
₹19,999 · Made to Order
Named after the monsoon raag — the raga that arrives without announcement and settles into something vast. Malhaar was born from a client who wanted their entryway to feel like a pause. Not a drop zone. A transition.
The console floats. No visible hardware. A concealed cleat system holds it to the wall with a rigidity that belies how quiet it looks. The drawer slides on a hidden mechanism — handleless, flush, frictionless — the kind of detail you only notice when you reach for it.
Sustainable rubberwood throughout. Matte PU sealed. It does not demand attention. It earns it.

Care & Maintenance
- Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Do not place wet objects directly on the surface without a coaster.
- Polish annually with a quality wood wax to maintain the matte finish.
- The drawer mechanism is tuned for smooth operation — do not force it if stiff; a light wax on the runners resolves most friction.
FAQs
Can the length be customised?
Yes. Malhaar can be made to fit your wall. Mention your exact dimension when you enquire — pricing may vary for significant deviations from 1040mm.
What wall types can it be mounted on?
The concealed cleat system works with brick, concrete, and plywood-backed drywall. The mounting hardware is included. Mikhail will walk you through the install over a quick call.
What weight can it hold?
The surface holds up to 20kg when wall-mounted correctly. The drawer is designed for keys, cards, and small items — not heavy loads.
Can the finish be changed?
The matte PU is the default. A satin PU finish is available on request at no extra charge. A natural oil finish is also available but requires more active maintenance.
